
Ed is a certified Body Arts and Science International Pilates instructor. He has 10 years of Pilates teaching experience. Prior to Pilates he was a Martial Arts instructor and certified as a personal fitness trainer from the Exercise Teachers Academy in Cape Town. Ed is also the co-owner of Harrington St. Boxing, a white-collar boxing gym in Cape Town, as well as being a certified Russian Kettlebells trainer. Ed has a passionate interest in movement sciences and dedicates his time to furthering his knowledge continuously within this field. In 2005, Eduard spent the year teaching and developing Pilates in Beijing, China. He has since had the opportunity to teach BASI courses in both Indonesia and Japan.

Eve has always been passionate about moving her body in a way that brings her closer to inner balance. Her journey in this direction started with six years of Wushu Kung-Fu which first introduced her to the focus that comes with mind-body orientated exercise. She later diverted from Kung-Fu to the more serene path of Hatha Yoga, which she has been practicing for over five years and has been teaching for several. It was this love of movement and body awareness as well as teaching that led her to become a BASI qualified Pilates instructor. She loves to push the body to new heights, discovering its hidden potentials, while focusing on connecting with the mind and spirit. In this way she is aims to provide a challenging work-out which leaves the practitioner refreshed and elated.

Tanya Futter has had an extensive career as a professional dancer. Her signature style combines the control of classical Pilates with the intensive workout from body conditioning and dance related movements. She is wonderful with dancers, who need someone with a special understanding of the demands involved, and the knowledge of how to improve the skills and strength needed in their challenging careers. She is more than capable of giving a killer workout to both men and women and approaches each session with an enthusiasm and vigour gauranteed to draw blood, sweat and tears.
